Alanya University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (ALANYASEM) is launching a new education program that prioritizes public health. This program, titled "Basic Hygiene Training," aims to increase the level of knowledge of individuals on hygiene and to popularize healthy living habits.
The training will be offered with a hybrid model, providing participants with both online and face-to-face learning opportunities. The e-Government approved certificate given at the end of the program carries the quality of an important document, especially for those working in the food, health, education, and service sectors.
Hygiene Awareness and New Education Opportunities
Alanya University Rector Prof. Dr. Turan SAĞER, in his statement made within the scope of the promotion of the program, used the following expressions:
“Hygiene is not only an individual responsibility; it is also the cornerstone of social health. As a university, it is our priority duty to create awareness in this field and to raise individuals equipped with knowledge. The Basic Hygiene Training we offer through our Continuing Education Application and Research Center is a concrete reflection of this vision. The information our participants will acquire will both increase their own quality of life and add value to the institutions they work for. Along with this, a large number of courses and training programs will be implemented in different fields in our center in the coming period. Thus, while contributing to the professional development of individuals, we aim to increase the social benefit.”
While experts emphasize that hygiene awareness plays a critical role in the protection of public health, it is evaluated that this training program started by Alanya University will increase the awareness in the region and provide significant contributions to the participants. With the new courses to be opened by the Continuing Education Application and Research Center in the coming period, the university's educational activities for the society are expected to diversify further.
