Contribution to Public Health from Alanya University: Basic Hygiene Training Begins
Alanya University Continuing Education Center (SEM) is launching a new training program that prioritizes public health. Titled “Basic Hygiene Training,” the program aims to increase individuals' knowledge of hygiene and promote healthy living habits.
The training will be delivered via a hybrid model, offering participants the flexibility of both online and face-to-face learning. The e-Government (e-Devlet) approved certificate provided at the end of the program serves as a significant credential, particularly for those working in the food, healthcare, education, and service sectors.
Hygiene Awareness and New Educational Opportunities
In a statement regarding the program's launch, the Rector of Alanya University, Prof. Dr. Turan SAĞER, stated:
"Hygiene is not just a personal responsibility; it is the cornerstone of public health. As a university, it is our primary duty to raise awareness in this field and cultivate well-informed individuals. The Basic Hygiene Training offered through our Continuing Education Center is a concrete reflection of this vision. The knowledge our participants gain will both improve their quality of life and add value to the institutions where they work. Furthermore, our center will launch numerous courses and training programs in various fields in the coming period. In doing so, we aim to contribute to professional development while increasing social benefit."
Experts emphasize that hygiene awareness plays a critical role in protecting public health.
